Rachel has always had an interest in drawing and painting, as well as an increased interest in growing and gardening. She thought that these two aspects of her life could perfectly complement each other, and proceeded to channel her creativity into painting extra plant pots around the house.
It came as no surprise when Rachel started Garden Gnome in November 2020, a functional art brand focused on art for the people. Garden Gnome displays and sells Rachel's different designs through painted terracotta pots and plates for multi-purpose use. Her designs are inspired by Bermuda, geometric shapes, and personal meanings. Overall, Rachel aims to share her love of plants, art, and functional decor through Garden Gnome, and to be a platform for local artists and gardeners to use and be inspired by.
